about 6 or 8 years ago, I bought an 80 GB iPod (it had COLOR! woo!) for $150. It plays music still, and its 2" screen will play SOME videos.
Today on newegg I can get a 32 GB SD card for $15 and slap that into a phone that has approximately a bajillion more features and a screen 3 or 4 times larger that Amazon will sell me for $.01...
net loss: 90% of the cost and 50% of the memory and -200% of the screen size, in half a decade.
I love that law that i'm too lazy to look up the name of right now... :)
Wow... "net loss [of] -200% of the screen size" is probably the most complicated way to re-word "a screen 3 [...] times larger" without introducing algebra.
high school tried to introduce me to algebra. I thought he was a nice enough fellow, but didn't like the labor demands he placed on my free time, so I decided to avoid further interactions.
i try to exercise your minds, hehehe. i was trying to stay in the "loss" theme
