I think almost everyone should try this:

The Personality Disorder Test

And yes, it's actually serious.

Sweet. The only "high" category I scored in was "narcissistic". I want everyone to recognize how brave I am for divulging that. ;P

I'm also moderately schizophrenic, which would explain why my powers of mind control still haven't worked for me as well as I had hoped.

too long... didn't read... snicker.

actually... why is eccentric in quotes? my appearance or behavior is considered eccentric... not "eccentric"... i would say.

and this is a great yes/no question:
"Do you often see things in black and white terms? In other words, something either is or it isn't, with no gray area inbetween. " anyone? anyone? bueller?

it turns out i'm moderately possibly schizotypal or narcissistic too. is everyone that's comfortable with themselves like this? hehe

oddly enough i took this the other day. apparently i'm pretty fucked up and have schizophrenic leanings...great...

You be the judge (Miss S, Spike, Casey):

Disorder | Rating
Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: Moderate
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Low
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High
Dependent: Moderate
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

They never asked if I'd every had a pen cap up my ass. Odd ommission.

Joe, fyi I think I've only seen sarah s actually post here like once or twice before (even then I could be wrong, spike?). The "just sarah" here is not miss s. This sarah lives in balitmore too though, so some confusion might be warranted.

2/24/2003 >> Septimus

Durrrr.... Sorry "not Miss S" just Sarah. My apologies!

2/24/2003 >> sarah

no worries. but here's mine for comparison. like i said - i didn't know that i was that screwed up! ^_^Disorder | Rating
Paranoid: High
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: Very High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

2/24/2003 >> jackie

i took it and got "moderate" on histrionic" and high on "avoidant" and "Dependant"

i was a little disturbed until i saw yours, sarah and that we got some of the same ratings. now i feel better because if we're screwed up, i don't want to be normal :):).

i still need to call you about crocheting....

2/25/2003 >> spike

ok, so i should be committed (i swear i answered these honestly):

Jackie, quickly! hide the children!

So funny. Spike your results have prompted me to come up with a new, possibly ground breaking new hypothesis in phsycholgical research. It may be possible that a person (such as yoursefl) could be so screwed up in so many ways as to appear completely normal, more normal than normal. This "hypernormalism" is really a balanced ecology of several mental disorders, each so severe, any one alone would have you on a killing spree. But all together they form the equilibrium of a balanced personality.
This would be the mental analogy to the Mr. Burns condition of competing physical ailments, right?
