In an interesting bit of "huh?" - I am watching season 1 of the Muppet Show, and Rowlf sings/plays "Cottleston Pie". Now this is 1976, mind you. He credits Pooh Bear with the creation of it, however, a lot of people credit Benjamin Hoff, whose book came out 6 years later...
It's just another in a long line of moments that make me agree with Brian, who firmly believes that a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

From Sarah, I heard about a massive cancer study... hopefully, in the grant, the doctors used some more technical information than "looking for half a million volunteers willing to let researchers watch them for the next 20 years to see whether they get cancer." but it's a very awesome plan regardless...

So, I want to do a super big thanks to Cooper Miley for helping out at Joe Squared last night - He came over a little early last night, hopped on at the house, wanted to drop a few, so I said yes, of course... he rocked the joint, with my records (many of which I didn't know I had), especially with the double extra strength mix of Atom Bomb into Atom Bomb - that was the shit.
Other than that, thanks to Adrienne for staying so long - and Peter for his 30 minute fly by... other than that, it was a nice empty bar... so I got to practice at least. Finally they have a mixer though, so that's good... all in all, it was fun times.

Thats right you suck . You are a steaming load of Bill Gates shit. (Which is probably worth more than I will ever make in my life)
<br/>What is up with not working with BT 2006? Thats pathetic. I pay 26K per fucking CPU for this pile of buggy crap and expect you to work with it. No I'm not going to wait for R2. And what the hell is with not supporting AJAX. I hope you and all of the brainless tards pushing you on the masses die!

I need the following tracks on MP3 pretty much right freakin now. I'll delete from the list as I find them, but any help you can provide would be VERY greatly appreciated. Torrents are okay if they're fucking FAST.

May 13, the Silversun Pickups are playing at the Recher Theatre!
I will, of course, be NOT playing at Joe Squared that night in order to go to this... come with!
Remember, EVERY Sunday other than this one, I DO spin at Joe Squared - so come to that too!

I feel bad. On Earth Day, yesterday, I cut down a tree in my yard. Not only that, I went out to Home Depot and bought the saw to do it and everything.
I am a bastard. All it the name of home improvement!

OK so I finally got around to installing Joost...noticed this in my invite email:
Benjamin Stiefel suggested that we invite you to participate in the Joost beta
testing program.
Hi Stu,
I'm watching "P. Diddy - Tell Me [Featuring Christina Aguilera]" on Joost and I knew you'd want to see this too so here is an invite just for you.
Somehow that doesn't seem like your type of music, Ben :-)

hey everyone, i'm here in the upper west side for a few days - to anyone that didn't know i'd be here. Thursday I fly down to San Diego again, to meet my niece - Chloe Stiefel! (that's sad - Stiefel wasn't in FF's dictionary)
Anyone familiar with this town? or more specifically, Beaverton? Ralph, so help me, if you crack a joke... yes... I'll laugh... hehehe

My friend Tom Capo has very good article about how wine ordering/tasting at a good restaurant should go. I've heard most of this before, but not this clearly and concisely... it's very useful if you expect to ever find yourself at a nice restaurant, ordering the wine.

Had Enough? Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder. We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, "Stay the course." Stay the course? You've got to be kidding. This is America, not the damned Titanic. I'll give you a sound bite: Throw the bums out! You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore. The President of the United States is given a free pass to ignore the Constitution, tap our phones, and lead us to war on a pack of lies.Congress responds to record deficits by passing a huge tax cut for the wealthy (thanks, but I don't need it). The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs. While we're fiddling in Iraq, the Middle East is burning and nobody seems to know what to do. And the press is waving pom-poms instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of America my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for.

Come on out and have some drinks, do some dancing, chill out with each other and talk about how crazy your Saturday night was! Or, if you like, just have some food and don't talk to anyone, just hang out and listen to me! hehehe

I don't know why i didn't think about it until now but i really wanted to use blogbaltimore.com to bitch about work. I feared that one of the people there though would find out about the site and all the things I was saying. Then I thought, "SHIT!" Why not just make it private so that if i ever leave i can just go back and make the posts public. So ladies and gents, i'm still writing, just not so the public can see :) When the tale of terror is finished though I'll be sure to let everyone know.

You'll like this guy too - DJ Klachick (sorry, could only find myspace urls...). The track that loads on there is actually really cool - at least, I like it a lot, and the (one of few) line in English sets it off - "my brother, my little brother, he picks the pockets of hipsters on the L train!"
This guy has actually DJ'd for Gogol Bordello at their regular club in NYC. And he's from Israel, where you have to be bad ass to be a DJ by default, hehe

Here's the deal, my PS2 hasn't worked in a couple of months. From what I understand, it is the infamous Disc Read Error. Apparently all I need to do is open it up and clean the lense. Is this true? If it is true, does anyone have a safe way to do it? I don't wanna bollocks up my PS2 for good. I have beer and will pay with it for help.
