never happens to me... there was a fire somewhere in our building, and i didn't really get to see anything... the trucks came, we waited, the trucks left... i think it was all in the kitchen at Olives DC below us...
at least it was mild, climate wise... a nice day for standing around outside being bored...

3 of my favorites:
STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE: Religious extremist terrorists destroy government installation, killing thousands.
STAR WARS: EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: Boy is abused by midget, kisses sister, attempts patricide.
STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI: Handicapped mass murderer kills septugenarian, is lauded.

I'm constantly dealing with questions and requests, people wanting this, a price quote for that, it's a never ending onslaught of questions for things to do. I get big things, small things, extended periods of time things and short one minute diddy things.
I'm having a hell of a time keeping track of all these things. I've got a note book that I attempt to keep updated it's just not cutting it. I've got post-it notes all over pages with notes to other pages and it's not effective.
I want to find a program that's fairly interactive that I can create digital notes. Color coding would be nice and being able to shift them around in priorities would also benefit. Either something plugins in and expands on Outlooks tasks would be nice or something else completely separate. I can't rely directly on outlook tasks because I use that to track the emails that come flying in constantly and it's cluttered enough with just those.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm working on replacing a friend's fried motherboard - he's got a Dell C521 i believe, and the motherboard is model UT226 - i can't find too many specs on it, and there are a lot of places on google checkout (with terrible or 0 ratings) selling the UT226, but i was wondering if there's something compatible and same size i could slap in there... say this... what should i look for when i'm looking at compatible replacements?
thanks!

Im not sure if I have a huge issue with this or not? I spent almost a year in my old neighborhood doing the lawn of an abandoned/foreclosed place because I actually gave a crap about the neighborhood and would rather have someone living there taking care of the place.

Ok, so i doubt that anyone here has the setup and circumstances correctly for this, but i'll ask anyways, because i'd rather ask here than CL... so:

that's the sound it made when whatever it was i was going to write about in this space left my brain... dangit. instead, let's talk about towel day! maybe we should have a party on towel day this year...? We're almost done with the first floor changes, and as John reminded me, we never had an official engagement party, so perhaps towel day can wrap it all into one? what do you guys say?
how about the fact that my default response to a lack of anything previously cached as a topic is to want to throw a party? ;)

Dear Mac/iTunes users, is there any way I can get iTunes to see when I drop a new MP3 in the My Music folder and automatically add it to my library? Third-party background utility maybe? Every other music library software on the planet has this feature. Why the hell doesn't iTunes?

How/who/where would I go in Baltimore to get an actual 3-D chess set made based on this design? Does anyone know anyone who works with wood or metal or plastics who would be able to make this happen?
Let me know. Thanks.
