So apparently capitalism has failed. Every gas station and hardware store was out of windshield washer fluid. I sat in my car in despair for about a minute when I had an epiphany. I work in a lab! I will make my own damn windshield washer fluid. I raced back to work and hopped on the internet to get a recipie. About 5 minutes later I was pouring into my car 5 liters of 30% Methanol in water with about a teaspoon of dish detergent. I drove home feeling a surge of pride in myself with every squirt of windshield washer fluid. I hit that windshield washer fluid lever so many times on the way it was like when I first discovered pornography.
