This article pretty much confirms my theory that
1/2 the country is made up of whining pseudo-intellectual bleeding heart multi-culturalist liberal pussies (some of whom post here) and the other ½ is made up of drooling downsyndrome-esque redneck retards. This article is about the latter half
Polls Show Many Americans are Simply Dumber Than Bush
By Paul Craig Roberts
01/29/06 "ICH" -- -- Two recent polls, a Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll and a New York Times/CBS News poll, indicate why Bush is getting away with impeachable offenses. Half of the US population is incapable of acquiring, processing and understanding information.
Much of the problem is the media itself, which serves as a disinformation agency for the Bush administration. Fox "News" and right-wing talk radio are the worst, but with propagandistic outlets setting the standard for truth and patriotism, all of the media is affected to some degree.

So I was at the iBar with Penn last night taking about a wide range of topics for a few hours.
One topic of conversation that was brought up was an e-mail I had sent Penn a few days ago.
Basically it was about how I am getting a table at a computer show / hamfest to sell some older unwanted too heavy to ship computer equipment.
Penn - "so what’s with this Computer show BBQ thing you have been trying to get us to go to for the last few years?"
Rich - "what?"
Penn - "remember that e-mail you sent out like two day ago?"
Rich - "yeah, what does that have to do with BBQ?"
Pause
Rich - "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAROTFLOLHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAROTFLOLHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHABBQHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAROTFLOLHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAROTFLOLHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BBQ"
Pause
Penn - "what is your problem, and what the hell are you laughing about"
Pause
Rich - "Hamfest is referring to Ham radio"
Pause
Penn - "oh"

Blogger Web Comments for Firefox is an extension that makes it easy to see what bloggers are saying about a page you're viewing in Firefox and even make your own blog post about it, all without leaving the page you're on.
Double thumbs up from Rich.

Now that is a web 2.0 name. You can't be web 2.0 unless you have the cool name that means nothing.
I just got it set up on my Fedora box and I'm pretty impressed. Once I finish securing it I'll throw out the URL.

here's a question for you all...
what do you use to remember a link, a site, a cool movie you saw online, whichever? I used to use the link-o-matic & links page here as the only repository... something i could access from anywhere, and with the hopes of making it changeable for every user... i.e. you log in, you see your links, not mine.
At work, since that's where I see most things now anyway, I've been using the FF bookmarks... but then i can't get to that on my tablet. i added the del.icio.us extensions to firefox, that might help, but so far i've only tagged things, not gone back to them... so, what do you all use to store your links? why, what are the pros & cons, etc.?
also, i just found an "incubator"... this looks cool, start.com... it starts looking like Google's personalized page, but you can BUILD your own gadgets... i think that's pretty cool...

Check out this article, not so much for the article itself...but the stock prices in the middle of the article update dynamically. And you can mouse over them.

Hey Ben, I'm tired of the phone tag.
Perhaps if you leave long, detailed voicemails and if I squint just a little, it will almost be as if you are half asleep and have just given me directions to get from the executioner to Eli, but I will have, yet again, forgotten to write them down. What was that? Open Down? I can never get that part right.
So whats the deal bitches? You are coming out here to the land of fruits flakes and nuts? Gotta love california, it is the only place where they have to put fences up to keep the fruits from picking the people...

I know I've said it before, but things are getting pretty goddamn scary in this country. Now, it's illegal to "annoy" someone over the Internet if you're not using your real name.... I hope there's internet access in jail.
Illegal to "annoy" someone over the internet...
Is it at all possible to change this government, or is in an exercise in futility? It really scares the sh*t out of me.

Welcome to Stanton!
by Rebecca Schoenkopf
Thursday, 05 January 2006
You can’t afford it here either
Stanton. Beautiful, beautiful Stanton. Home of Venus’ live nude ladies, “theaters” that feature bruised, hollow-eyed girls waving their clean-plucked naughty bits in the air, and a plethora of pawn shops where I like to do my Christmas shopping.
Stanton is the place the rest of us here in Orange County make fun of when we’re tired of mocking Fontana.
Stanton—let’s face it—is a nasty, stinking hole, and therefore the perfect place for your first-time home-buying needs.

Holy Fuck is south Blatimore a steaming shit hole!. I had to attend Mrs X's grandmother's viewing at a funeral home off of Patapsco avenue in Brooklyn Park. I think I saw at least 10 crack deal go down outside of the funeral home. The whole place looks like something out of 28days later (only with Crack heads and dealers instead of Zombies.

I'm looking for a piece of hardware in the simplest form that I can find it. What I need to do is take two RCA stereo lines (so 4 lines total) and merge the adio of the two sources together. The output of this would be two stereo signals, each containing the same merged audio.
What I think I need is a cheap two-input stereo mixer and a couple RCA splitters. I don't need a lot of fancy buttons, because I will probably plug all this in and just leave it hooked up as-is for the forseeable future.
Any recommendations on the specific hardware I'll need to make this happen? Cheaper is better, but I don't want to risk any loss of sound quality.
