i'm looking for a way to make an Smtp mail object use multiple Smtp servers... i tried
SmtpMail.SmtpServer = "ip1;ip2;ip3...";
that didn't work... doing just one ip works fine, but i'm looking at sending a LOT of emails, so i want to have it cycle through.
if anyone knows how to do this, please let me know... perhaps i need a proxy Smtp server? one that will dole out the emails to the servers behind it? i don't know if that's even possible...

as several of you may know, i live in baltimore. as a few more of you may know, i live in hamden.
as only a few of you may know, there is a festival of lights every year. i've always heard of it as "The Miracle on 34th Street", and this is great, they have a web cam...
well, i haven't had dinner yet, and i was going to go down and get some pizza, but i'm going to try out my camera while i'm there... hopefully i get some nice shots!

So, up at 6:45 AM, off to school. Long lecture, crappy lunch, some groupwork. Then a torturously long lecture, about half of which I picked up.
6 PM, finally time to head home, think I'll stop by the tobacconists in the 'galleria'/mall and get some snus. Friend and I do that, go to my busstation.
Friend: "Damn, my bus doesn't come for another 30 minutes, think I'll catch another bus."
So he starts walking back in the mall to the other side where there's more stations. I stand around trying to waste some time, turn my back on the mall.. *BANG! BANG!* I swing around..

....And sometimes, when I feel like I'm either standing on the highest peak or in the lowest valley, I forget about the other.
The sun's shining a little bit brighter today and I have a little bit more bounce in my step. Thank you. You know who you are.
That is all.

Imagine the look of surprise when I did a GIS on our fearless leader's name (Ben, of course), and I found out that I apparently don't know him at all......because he's been dead since 1986! So, I ask you, fellow EA'ers, who is Ben Stiefel?

Today I went to best buys at 5:30 Am to stand in line. I did this to get 7 hard drives that were each 160 Gb. And they only cost $30 after rebates :)
How awesome is that, a little over a terabyte of disk space for a little over $200.

W00t! It's out. Installed the game about 30 minutes ago, then tried to register it.. no, ok, the Steam network is busy so you'll get yer registration later. Fine, now lemme play. No, have to pre-cache files for about 15 minutes. Alright, just.. c'mon now.. Noooo have to UPDATE IT FOR 40 MINUTES. But.. I just bought the game..? STFU, it told me.
Way to go on the game, Valve, but fucking be READY for an entire globe wanting to connect to your god damned shitty Steam service next time!

Well my proclivity to get ear infections reared its ugly head again last week. Although this time one could not ask for a better setting for the situation. Sunny Isles Florida, weather sunny 75 – 80 degrees, hotel with several stars next to the front door, and I even had the foresight to bring along my own attending ICU nurse.
I tell you people, I must really love this girl. An ear infection to me feels like someone has broken a pencil in half, jabbed the jaggedy ends in my ears and occasionally twists them around leaving splinters. That is the happy version of the description kids. Anyway, Wendy made this whole experience fairly enjoyable, despite my, and the vicodin deamons', best efforts to the contrary.
My recommendation to anyone that will listen, find a nurse to love. I have. They are the best.

I’m sure most of you remember my depressing rant about my ex leaving me for another guy. I have gone way over the amount of morning time as suggested. So what I’m curious is if anybody can recommend an adequate dating website. I have had limited success with a handful of them, I have profiles on match, yahoo, and now okcupid. In fact the only date I have had is from hot or not.
Suggestions ?

heheh, when you have winamp, windows media player, real player, musicmatch and easy cd creator all installed on your machine, it's fun to watch them vying for a cd that you put in your drive like a piece of choice steak thrown at a pack of wolves you've been starving for 3 weeks just to watch them...
not that i'd do this of course.

hahaha, the list of how philosophers died is awesome. some of my favorites:
Camus: Found exit
Boole: Became inverted
Darwin: Became unfit
Freud: Slipped
Heraclitus: Fell in the same river twice
Locke: No idea
Russell: Cut himself shaving
Skinner, B F: Bad behaviour
Zeno: Run over by tortoise
via philosophical ways to break up, via boing-boing, via pluck... just so you know, i'm a functionalist (like Russel, hahaha)

the spelling errors are his of course, but basically what i gleaned is that: they're fixing the things that were borked, they're adding the things that were jabber, and they're basically building a strong product that will keep adding customers.
i actually paid for 2.0 of this, and i've been very pleased (except when behind a proxy server). i'm interested to see 3.0 when it's for real

Since most individuals here (including our resident 13-year-olds) have more brains than many of the people on my "other forum" do collectively, I thought I'd bring up a topic here that was brought up there.
Why is a third-party vote not a wasted vote?

All this talk about phones has got me going again... i just read on slashdot about nokia's new phone, but it still looks... kinda weak, you know? i think i prefer sony's design much more, especially with their upcoming addition, the p 910a (i don't know what the difference is between the 910a and the 910i, yet)... what with the keyboard and the email and the design that's easier on the eyes (it's flippy man, it's FLIPPY!!!)

An electronic voting machine of yet-to-be-determined make gave 'til it hurt on election night, to the President's benefit.
"Franklin County's unofficial results had Bush receiving 4,258 votes to Democrat John Kerry's 260 votes in a precinct in Gahanna. Records show only 638 voters cast ballots in that precinct."
One does wonder if this happened anywhere else, doesn't one?

This link goes along with some other links I've been posting lately. I've always strived to be a critical thinker but to also respect views I don't agree with. I think I'm through with being intellectually fair to the red state mentality. I officially condemn thier "values" and thier "morals" if that's even what you want to call them. Fuck you, red states and your gay-hating, divorcing, teen-impregnating, undereducating dumbass selves. I've never met a fundamentalist christian I didn't like. But what the fuck? If you people insist on living outside of reality any longer, there's going to be fucking civil war.

has anyone else noticed that, while they sound a lot like the Pixies, Isaac Brock has a tendency to sound like Jack White from the White Stripes? Very much so on "Good News For People Who Love Bad News" (the title song on the album)... does anyone else actually LISTEN to them (obviously excepting pete, sarah and peter, hehe)

Just because we need more election posts, I was wondering...
If the election were to be decided here, on this site, who would be elected? Let's get a vote tally going.

Let us hope that today’s election goes better then four years ago. I seriously think that if we have another mess involving lawyers and/or another branch of government electing our president, that it could cause serious problems with the worlds perception of our stability. That perception of stability is what is holding many card houses up, namely the value of the increasingly over circulated US dollar.
Trivia question that you might know if you had read the book that I am currently recommending ( Financial Reckoning Day):
What country holds about 20% of US currency?

If I had my choice of death, I would want to live untill I'm 96. Then, I would be walking and just blow up. That way, it would be quick and painless. Maybe a little messy, but why would I care? I'm dead!

ok, once and for all, at least for my site... you don't just use 10% of your brain... you use 100% of your brain in a given day, you just use 10% of it at a time...

after a month or 3 of it sitting on my shelf between Mozart and Moloko, i picked up the Moonlight Mile soundtrack, and was impressed at my own power to forget how good it is...

If you're eligible to vote in tomorrow's election:
VOTE
Don't care who you vote for (well, I do, but that's beyond the point) as long as you vote!
