1. The market continues to crumble. More sob stories about fucked boomers who can't sell. The real estate industry keeps pumping out happy bullshit. The republican and dems who defend the financial industry face angry crowds. The too big to fail bankers pass more laws to rig the system. A cash economy starts bypassing the banking system. This prompts tougher laws that turn average citizen into a criminal for not feeding the financial beast. The trust of the system that has marked the last century starts to wither. Anti-government extremism grows like crazy. This causes a corrosion of society unlike anything we've ever seen before.

Thus far both CNBC and NY times have been floating the D word around.
http://topics.nytimes.com/top/opinion/editorialsandoped/oped/columnists/index.html Krugman is a fucking moron who completely washed over just how bad both the 1830s panics and the late 19th century depressions (more than one) were. Still that is a huge shift from the denial the media and the country have been for the last two years over how bad things are going to be soon. We are all completely fucked now. Except for those who have prepared for this. My wife and kids are already psyched about becoming real hobos. It will be one hell of an adventure.

I want to create a network of people who can go to any graveyard in the US and for US$49.99 will piss on the grave of the person of your choice.
A digital photo album would be provided upon completion of aforementioned grave pissing.I figure the split with the grave pisser would be 75/25 with the 25% going to me for facilitating the grave pissing and the 75% going to the grave pisser for doing the actual work.
Where do I look for VC funding?

Unemployment is worse than EVER. Inflation is coming, and it's going to be nasty. The housing market is about to get hit with the alt-a/option arm/jumbo loan wave of defaults (roughly 2-3x the size of the subprime wave we just went through). We are still shedding over half a million jobs from our economy EVERY MONTH. The 'real' unemployment rate NATIONALLY is almost 20% right now. No meaningful recovery can even BEGIN to happen until about 2013, after the last wave of the BIG foreclosures is over, and ONLY if unemployment gets under control. No jobs, no housing = no recovery. Don't believe the hype. There is no hope. There has been no change (at least not for the good). You are being lied to, little sheep. bahhh

Great Depression 2 just sounds kind of lame. Plus we have had many depressions before that event that were much more catastrophic like 1826,1837-1843, 1873-1879 it seems like we used to go to shit every 10 years.
Thoughts?

Time to bring back the guillotines.
I would add to this list because the Times seems to think it was only the Repukes and their friends that caused this. (Not in any special order)
Nancy Pelosi
Chris Dodd
Barney gimme that tranny cock Frank
The entire BoD + executive ranks of CitiGroup
Warren Buffet + Bill H1B Gates
From the Times:
The global financial crisis has evolved into a worldwide recession of epic proportions. Analysts fear the sudden slump which has followed the credit crunch could even rival the Great Depression of the early 1930s and lead to global stagnation.
But who is responsible? (typical Repulitard response here is to immediately blame poor black folks and Acorn)

I think we have been since 2002 but that's just based on actual employment, GDP and M3 figures. Now we are eating shit: Enjoy because that is all we will have to eat till the 20 30's
Yummy. I think that was a piece of corn over there. Can I have it.
http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/
"The official unemployment rate is 7.2%. However, if you start counting all the people that want a job but gave up, all the people with part-time jobs that want a full-time job, all the people who dropped off the unemployment rolls because their unemployment benefits ran out, etc., you get a closer picture of what the unemployment rate is. That number is in the last row labeled U-6.
It reflects how unemployment feels to the average Joe on the street. U-6 is 13.5%. Note that it was 8.7% a year ago. Both U-6 and U-3 (the so called "official" unemployment number) are poised to rise further.
There is no official definition of depression. Here is mine: When the U-6 unemployment rate rises above 12.5 in conjunction with a stock market that is down close to 50%, the CPI is negative, and nominal wages are stagnant, it's an economic depression. We are in one.
Looking ahead, I expect the service sector to continue to weaken. Mall vacancy rates are rising and a huge contraction in commercial real estate is finally started. There is no driver for jobs and states in forced cutback mode are making matters far worse. Expect to see the official unemployment rate hit 9% in 2009.
Given that unemployment is a lagging indicator, it is likely to continue rising in 2010."

With an avid hunting community and 2.5 guns per man woman and child in the US, the strategy should be easy to implement. The scoring scheme could be as follows:
Hunt down and execute, with pics of beheading posted to Twitter: assailant gets to pocket 10% of the executive's estate; other 90% goes to the '08 Depression Restoration Fund.
Hunt down and impale, with video of the 1-7 day impalement posted to Youtube: assailant gets to pocket 60% of the executive's estate; other 40% goes to the '08 Depression Restoration Fund. Also gets to do the talk show circuit and on cover of Field & Stream.

Subject: URGENT BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP
DEAR AMERICAN:
I NEED TO ASK YOU TO SUPPORT AN URGENT SECRET BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH A TRANSFER OF FUNDS OF GREAT MAGNITUDE.
I AM MINISTRY OF THE TREASURY OF THE REPUBLIC OF AMERICA. MY COUNTRY HAS HAD CRISIS THAT HAS CAUSED THE NEED FOR LARGE TRANSFER OF FUNDS OF 800 BILLION DOLLARS US. IF YOU WOULD ASSIST ME IN THIS TRANSFER, IT WOULD BE MOST PROFITABLE TO YOU.
I AM WORKING WITH MR. PHIL GRAM, LOBBYIST FOR UBS, WHO WILL BE MY REPLACEMENT AS MINISTRY OF THE TREASURY IN JANUARY. AS A SENATOR, YOU MAY KNOW HIM AS THE LEADER OF THE AMERICAN BANKING DEREGULATION MOVEMENT IN THE 1990S. THIS TRANSACTIN IS 100% SAFE.
THIS IS A MATTER OF GREAT URGENCY. WE NEED A BLANK CHECK. WE NEED THE FUNDS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. WE CANNOT DIRECTLY TRANSFER THESE FUNDS IN THE NAMES OF OUR CLOSE FRIENDS BECAUSE WE ARE CONSTANTLY UNDER SURVEILLANCE. MY FAMILY LAWYER ADVISED ME THAT I SHOULD LOOK FOR A RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY PERSON WHO WILL ACT AS A NEXT OF KIN SO THE FUNDS CAN BE TRANSFERRED.
PLEASE REPLY WITH ALL OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, IRA AND COLLEGE FUND ACCOUNT NUMBERS AND THOSE OF YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN TO WALLSTREETBAILOUT@TREASURY.GOV SO THAT WE MAY TRANSFER YOUR COMMISSION FOR THIS TRANSACTION. AFTER I RECEIVE THAT INFORMATION, I WILL RESPOND WITH DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT SAFEGUARDS THAT WILL BE USED TO PROTECT THE FUNDS.
YOURS FAITHFULLY MINISTER OF TREASURY PAULSON

Thank god that vapid cunt is dead. Unfortunately the tard army is still running the show and we are now witnessing history:
From http://www.counterpunch.org/whitney09202008.html
By MIKE WHITNEY
On Friday morning, Senator Christopher Dodd, the head of the Senate Banking Committee, was interviewed on ABC's “Good Morning America.” Dodd revealed that just hours earlier at an emergency meeting convened by Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke, lawmakers were told that "We’re literally maybe days away from a complete meltdown of our financial system.” Dodd added somberly, that in his three decades of serving in public office, he had "never heard language like this.”

I just realized that the Idiot up the hill from my property near where I do zombie target practice hasn't been there all year and a tree damn near took out the place. Rear deck is crumbling. General disrepair. He bought it in 2005 for 685K. Its listed for 529K with some small time local realtor that does mostly foreclosure sales. I think I will offer them 75K. It will make a nice tol shed + the extra acre and a quarter could come in handy. Asshole took all his firewood though. Anybody want some copper?

So here is how the collapse is going to play out in the next year:
1. The imminent collapse of the U.S. Economy to occur sometime in late 2008
2, The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances sometime in mid 2009
3. The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse (Jesusland/dumbfukistan vs the United costal republic)
4. The advance round-ups of ?insurgent U.S. Citizens? likely to move against the government
5. The detention of those rounded up at The REX 84 Camps constructed throughout the United States
6. The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses
7. The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest
8. The necessary and unavoidable merger of The U.S. with Canada and Mexico establishing The North American Union
9. The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution.

Without UBS's auction-rate securities they were nothing. They built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men.
On the roads it was a white line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice. And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed.
Except for one man armed with an AK-47, and a Honda full of silver.

We will be there soon. Of course I told you all that the depression is coming. Unfortunately most of us won't survive this no matter how well prepared we are. Unless you have good arable farm land and are far enough away from the soon to be urban hell holes – you are finished. This will be known in the history books as the Great Die Off. We are going to be seeing families and children starving to death in the streets of America within the next five years. This is going to rock!

The bankruns on country wide have begun. Hope your bank has the proper separation between the retail and commercial banking sides.. Oh wait... buwhahaha That law got repealed! Get ready to get F-kd in a scary non erotic way!. My advice is to keep at least 15 - 25K in cash at home in a gun locker and get ready to deal with roving bands of toothless methed out cletuses rampaging from house to house looking for cash. This marks the end of the era of the "shareholder nation" and a return to great depression style living - where getting a meal and having a roof is good enough for most.

Today, the signature of modern American capitalism is neither benign competition, nor class straggle, nor an inclusive middleclass utopia. Instead, predation has become the dominant feature-a system wherein the rich have come to feast on decaying systems built for the middle class. The predatory class is not the whole of the wealthy; it may be opposed by many others of similar wealth. But it is the defining feature, the leading force. And its agents are in full control of the government under which we live.
For in a predatory regime, nothing is done for public reasons. Indeed, the men in charge do not recognize that "public purposes" exist. They have friends, and enemies, and as for the rest--we're the prey. Hurricane Katrina illustrated this perfectly, as Halliburton scooped up contracts and Bush hamstrung Kathleen Blanco, the Democratic governor of Louisiana. The population of New Orleans was, at best, an afterthought; once dispersed, it was quickly forgotten.
The predator-prey model explains some things that other models cannot: in particular, cycles of prosperity and depression. Growth among the prey stimulates predation. The two populations grow together at first, but when the balance of power shifts toward the predators (through rising interest rates, utility rates, oil prices, or embezzlement), both can crash abruptly. When they do, it takes a long time for either to recover.

I found this while trolling the retards at FC. Some good tips from a guy who lived through the 2001 depression in Argentina
BEGINS:
My brother visited Argentina a few weeks ago. He’s been living in Spain for a few years now.
Within the first week, he go sick, some kind of strong flu, even though climate isn’t that cold and he took care of himself.
Without a doubt he got sick because there are lots of new viruses in my country that can’t be found in 1st world countries.

Polls Show Many Americans are Simply Dumber Than Bush
By Paul Craig Roberts
01/29/06 "ICH" -- -- Two recent polls, a Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll and a New York Times/CBS News poll, indicate why Bush is getting away with impeachable offenses. Half of the US population is incapable of acquiring, processing and understanding information.
Much of the problem is the media itself, which serves as a disinformation agency for the Bush administration. Fox "News" and right-wing talk radio are the worst, but with propagandistic outlets setting the standard for truth and patriotism, all of the media is affected to some degree.

Welcome to Stanton!

Thursday, 05 January 2006
You can’t afford it here either
Stanton. Beautiful, beautiful Stanton. Home of Venus’ live nude ladies, “theaters” that feature bruised, hollow-eyed girls waving their clean-plucked naughty bits in the air, and a plethora of pawn shops where I like to do my Christmas shopping.
Stanton is the place the rest of us here in Orange County make fun of when we’re tired of mocking Fontana.
Stanton—let’s face it—is a nasty, stinking hole, and therefore the perfect place for your first-time home-buying needs.

Entire parkinglots of burned-out abandoned Home Depots and Wal-Marts will be filled with the rusting hulks of old minivans and SUVs, in which people evicted from their reposessed homes will live. Grubby kids will play amidst the laundry-lines strung between vehicles, while moms will grill their kids hotdogs with bic lighters and shit into plastic bags.

1. There is no such thing as Mothers Day. No worry about cards, gifts, and expensive meals. There is no honor in being a woman in our culture, so there is no reason to devote a day to her. We do, however, get to enjoy watching our fathers beat our mothers senseless for the slightest real or imagined infraction. Also, if Dad suspects that Mom spoke to a strange man in the street, he gets to kill her to preserve the family honor!

Bush was on vacation. Therefore, he cannot be blamed.
To find out who was responsible, we must look to who was filling in for Bush while he was on holiday.
Chain of Command:
-Vice President Cheney = vacation in Wyoming
-Speaker of the House = vacation in Illinois
-President pro tempore of the Senate Stevens = vacation in Alaska
-Secretary Rice = vacation in New York
-Secretary of the Treasury John Snow = vacation in Britain
-Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld = vacation in New Mexico
-Attorney General Alberto Gonzales = vacation in Texas
Secretary of the Interior Gale A. Norton = NOT ON VACATION
So, there you have it.
Gale Norton, a lifelong conservationist, public servant and advocate for bringing common sense solutions to environmental policy, KILLED 10,000+ Americans by failing to act.

"THE world's largest frozen peat bog is melting. An area stretching for a million square kilometres across the permafrost of western Siberia is turning into a mass of shallow lakes as the ground melts, according to Russian researchers just back from the region.
The sudden melting of a bog the size of France and Germany combined could unleash billions of tonnes of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere."

Note the $40.00 a barrel production costs for synthetic crude oil in the quote below and listen to the silence coming from the current U.S. Government "leaders".
The quote below is from: http://www.americanenergyindependence.com/cleanhydrocarbons.html
Read the whole thing, but the quote is from about half way down on my scroll bar.
Synthetic Diesel fuel made from U.S. coal and used as fuel for a new generation of highly efficient diesel cars could free America from dependence on foreign oil: 70-mpg diesel concept car unveiled.
The oil companies are not going to rush into the construction of new synthetic petroleum refineries because they do not want to be in a position like they found themselves in when President Reagan cut-off federal support for similar technology developed by the Carter Administration. When Ronald Reagan took office in 1981 he ended the national synthetic fuels program, forcing the oil companies to abandon their investments in synthetic petroleum refineries here in the U.S.
Engineers who worked with the original Synthetic Fuels program admit that it had problems, but that was over 25 years ago. Considering the extraordinary advances in technology over the past 25 years, imagine where the synthetic fuels technology would be today if President Reagan had kept the program going.
Fortunately, private companies and the DOE have quietly continued the research and development of Gas-To-Liquids technology. The GTL technology, available now, can produce synthetic petroleum from coal for under $40 per barrel.

Also Mrs. Anarchy had the baby (little girl dubbed Zoe). Links to pics to follow. I will make sure at some point pics of her baby pooh make it on the site too. (think Tub Girl)

1. Mandatory MAX 30hour work week. More than 30hours = mandatory overtime no matter what type of worker. This will bring immediate socio economic benefits to us including increased worker productivity, improved family life and a generally healthier society.
2. SIGNIFICANT Import tariffs on all goods delivered from overseas (no exceptions) for any nation that does not meet a standard of living and political freedom level as yet to be defined (shut down Chinese and Indonesian slave labor)
3. Fix shrubs tax cuts with a significant reduction in lower tier taxes while increasing higher end brackets.
4. Close all Non U.S soil and immediate territory military bases and operations
5. Impose significant "user fees" on all political "think tank" lobbying and other influence groups that are currently running our country of 100% matching. For every dollar contributed by any group require a matching amount to be collected with no exceptions down to the individual level.
6. Modify the constitution to define a corporation and to explicitly deny it any political rights. Deny corporations the right to petition any member of the U.S. government for any reasons (FLAT OUT no access to the political system for any reason no exceptions). Require a U.S. corporate charter for any business that wishes to conduct any operations outside of the U.S. The charter will be renewed every year based on a full audit of all taxes paid, and will be subject to an approval system requiring the corporation to prove its contribution to the U.S. This oversight system will require some degree of checks and balances as it may become a significant source of corruption if left unchecked (ie bribery, graft from within). The U.S corporate charter would only be a requirement for a company with any non U.S operations.

Bear is huge - bigger even than Barney
Bear has paws and teeth that would eat Big Bird for lunch
Snuffalupagus would be a challenge but Bear's agility would overcome that lumbering behemoth
Bear would shred all four Wiggles at once

I think murdering the top 10 CEO's spouses and children complete with letters to the media why this was done would go a long way to stopping outsourcing.

In a sick sort of way I am giddy with the thoughts of the death and destruction that W will bring to us and the rest of the world.
Stock up on ammo now so when the bread riots begin and your neighborhood republican death squad is knocking on your door, you will be prepared.
