So as Ben (I think) posted a while back, Ishkur said Z-Trip is currently the best Dj in the world.
I am now a true believer. I finally found a site with a bunch of his sets and albums and they are amazing. He has a track called motown breakdown that has 12 motown hits on top of hip-hop beats done in 8 minutes.
And try and catch him on tour. They're still working on the dates but he supposed to be coming to the 9:30 club in July.

Kraftwerk @ the 9:30 club on Monday!
Due to a mix up I have an extra ticket to the Monday Kraftwerk show. Doors open 7:30. As an incentive I'll sell it at cost (no processing fee) for $40. E-mail me at himguy@hoymail.com if your interested.
Thanks,
Joe

"A group of underground programmers has posted code online they say will reopen a back door in Apple's iTunes store, allowing Linux computer users to purchase music free of copy protection. The release comes just a day after Apple blocked a previous version of the program, called PyMusique, in part by requiring all iTunes customers to use the latest version of Apple's software. In a blog posting, 'DVD Jon' Johansen said he had been successful at reverse engineering the latest iTunes encryption."

DNA Perfection
"Imagine if you woke up one morning and realized that you had dormant superhuman abilities that were waiting to be unleashed.
That once you activated these abilities, you could manifest anything you desired in your life, live a life without drama, create your ideal physical body, become immune to all dis-ease, and REVERSE the aging process."
There. No more need for evolution!

I went and saw The Life Aquatic. But I couldn't concentrate because one of the 8,312 previews was for Hitch Hikers Guide. I've been hearing about it for awhile but it was nice to know it's actually finished. Nothing in the preview but the title. They better not screw it up.

Here's a link to the site where you can fax your Senator for free.
JUNE 28, 2004: The INDUCE Act is legislation being pushed by the record industry that would allow them to file lawsuits against companies that make unrestricted music hardware or software, such as the iPod or filesharing programs. The INDUCE Act will restrict technological innovation, limit free speech, and threaten one of the most vibrant sectors of the United States economy. Instead of taking advantage of new opportunities to build new business models, the record industry is pressuring Congress to stop music sharing with more lawsuits and regulation.
