We need to change a fundamental part of this site, and yes, I know it defeats the original purpose of it being free-form and posting whatever you want, and even using silly names and whatnot.
1. We need a registration and approval system so anyone can still register, but that needs to be approved before they can post.
2. Logging in needs to be required to post.
This will stop 99% of the general idiocy that's been overtaking everything and threadjacking EVERYTHING before it just makes the site a total joke. If people want to post they still can, but they at least can be kept track of...

My wife Amy delivered a healthy baby girl, Kendall Suzanne, after a VERY quick labor of just under an hour last night. Kiddo weighs in at 6 pounds 10 ounces, 19" long. Both mom and baby are doing great.

I'm meeting with the main developers for EverQuest to have dinner and drinks with them at their yearly fan convention in Chicago (luckily 30 miles from me).
I've honestly never ever been even the slightest bit nervous going into an interview process, but this one has my hair falling out...
